1. Prefer cash on delivery

Cash on delivery is the single most effective protection for a first-time buyer. You only hand over money when the product is physically in front of you. If the seller insists on advance payment to an individual bKash or Nagad number, treat that as a warning sign.

2. Check the seller is real

• Look for a physical address and a working phone number
• Check that the same number answers on WhatsApp
• Read reviews or ask existing customers
• Be suspicious of prices far below market value

3. Never share your OTP, PIN or CVV

No legitimate shop, courier or delivery agent will ever ask for your bKash PIN, OTP, card CVV or full card number. If someone claiming to be a delivery agent asks for these, it is a scam. Report it and do not continue.
